Our organic breakfast
It is often said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For this reason we have included it in your room rate. We take the traditional continental breakfast and add our passion for fresh, organic ingredients and home made delights. As in the rest of our accommodation, the philophy that prevails in our breakfast is the quality of the product rather than the quantity.
When Valencia oranges are in season, we offer freshly squeezed orange juice. Pressed Asturian cider-apple juice is available all year round.
We start with a platter of fresh seasonal fruit.
This is followed by freshly baked bread, grated fresh tomato, home-made jam and artisan cheese. We are passionate about making our own bread, which is baked daily using organic Spanish flours and home-made natural leaven.
Cakes and biscuits satisfy the sweet tooth. We bake a range of delicious cakes such as carrot cake, walnut and coffee cake and Javi´s favorite, blueberry and coconut sponge cake.
Whenever we can, the ingredients we use are organic and sourced locally. The cheese, although not organic, is very local and made by hand using a traditional artisanal method in Ca Llechi, a local cheesemonger in Pintueles (1 km form our doorstep).
Breakfast is served between 9 and 10.30 am in our dining room or, weather permitting, in the porch or garden.
(*) For stays in the suites (self-catering apartments) breakfast is available by prior reservation (the day before) at the price of €21. This service is subject to availability, as we are limited to a maximum of five tables.
